Cendol is a local Malay dessert made of thick green rice vermicelli dipped in coconut milk and sweetened with brown or white sugar and chilled with crushed ice. Topped with creamy corn, agar-agar (jelly), glutinous rice and red beans makes it more irresistible. While it is available throughout Malaysia, the best of it is available at the roadside stall in kilometer 11, Sg. Gadut, Seremban, Negeri Sembilan.
For RM 2.50 can you eat all you can, top up as much as you want and “bungkus” (take away) for the road trip. As a bonus you can be updated on history of Malaysia and its tourist attraction by the all know, ex-army boss of the cendol outlet.
